The Federal Agency for Tourism, together with specialists of the tourism industry, studied where Russians want to spend the Defender of the Fatherland Day.
The state holiday will last from 23 to 25 February. Air ticket search engine Aviasales: booking in Russia is 62.19%. Demanded tours for holidays: Moscow, Sochi, Mineral Waters, St. Petersburg and Simferopol.
Biletix: in Russia will rest 53% of citizens, in the top five were Rostov-on-Don and Krasnodar. The average price for air travel to both destinations within the country was 5,920 rubles, 24% higher compared to last year. The cost of tickets to popular destinations is from 4040 (Rostov-on-Don) to 12,284 rubles (Sochi).

According to domestic tour operators, successfully sold trips to Turkey (63%), the Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece. In February 2018, travel to the CIS countries (Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia) is successfully booked. The price of travel is 20-25 thousand rubles.
Oleg Safonov, Director of the Federal Agency for Tourism: Russian travelers in February prefer active and cultural and cognitive rest. Among the domestic destinations, the leaders are Sochi (Krass Polyana), Mineral Waters (Elbrus, Dombai) and Krasnodar.
