Myanmar abolishes visas for Russians
Russians could get in Myanmar for tourist or business purposes without a visa.
The visa-free regime was introduced on July 1, and will operate until June 30, 2024. Visa-free stay is possible for 30 days, according to the Consular Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
Russians can issue double (for 55 USD) or multiple (for 85 USD) tourist visas. The first gives the right to stay in Myanmar up to 30 days, the second - up to 90 days. Both types of visa are valid for 6 months.
