What are the most common complaints of tourists in domestic resorts?
Vacationers in the resorts of Russia complain of a violation of a safe distance on the beaches, queues, a formal approach to wearing masks by employees of catering and hotels.
The initiator of the hotline and the first vice-president of the Russian Peace Fund (RFM) Elena Sutormina said that such conclusions were made in the center “Security 2.0”, which works at the foundation. For less than a month of operation of the hotline, the center received 352 calls, emails, appeals through the form on the site.
“65% of them complain that many holidaymakers do not observe a safe distance in crowded places: on beaches, entertainment facilities. It was reported that there were large queues, for example, on the cable car in Krasnaya Polyana. At the same time, citizens do not wear masks, let alone gloves.”
Most of the appeals come from tourists who traveled to the south of the country - the Krasnodar Territory, the Crimea.
Fewer complaints relate to the work of hotels and catering facilities: formal wearing of masks – the staff does not cover their mouth and nose. Several complaints related to the lack of sanitizers, disinfectants, poor cleaning in the room.
23% asked for advice: in which regions of Russia you can go in the summer, how to get a certificate about the absence of COVID-19, the need to comply with the self-isolation regime. 5% of citizens reported that travel agencies refuse to return funds for tours that have not yet taken place.
Sutormina said that some citizens complained about the procedure for refunding for air tickets, the remaining ones - about problems with the service: the lack of towels, other necessary items, noise from neighbors, sometimes rudeness of employees.
According to the expert, about ten appeals were received from parents who cannot send their children to rest camps in other regions this year.
