Named the happiest country in the world
According to the World Happiness Report, Finland became the happiest country in the world in 2018. Finnish people are satisfied with life because of the government’s experimental approach to domestic politics.
The think tank Next Era says that the Finnish leadership has been conducting serious research in the field of health care, education and employment since the 1960s and is trying to increase the convenience and security of citizens.
All measures have allowed one of the most European countries to succeed in reducing crime and death rates to the lowest in the world.
For example, in Finland, the state analyzes the health data of citizens by their individual identification code.
If the municipality notices an increase in the number of people with fractures, the authorities will pour more sand there on the ice sidewalks.
The education system is recognized as a successful experiment.
“The school and its curriculum are built around children learning outside the classroom. Children are given greater freedom to move around school, work in any place convenient for them, each child has an individual lesson plan that meets their needs, says Juhu Yaakko, Director of Next Era.
He noted that experiments and monitoring mean that Finland is adjusting society, and this process affects the health, education and employment of the population.
Most people in Finland do not consider the country’s activities in this direction an encroachment on their freedom.
