According to the agency, the number of outbound tourist trips from Russia in 2018 increased by 5.8% (or 2.335 million) to 41.964 million from 39.629 million in 2017.
On March 1, it became known that the most popular destinations for travelers in Russia this spring are Sochi and Krasnodar Krai, St. Petersburg and Crimea. The top 10 included Moscow and the Moscow region, Stavropol, Karelia and Petrozavodsk, Kazan and Tatarstan, Tver and Leningrad regions.
