Norwegian company sells Europeans vaccination tours to Russia
The Norwegian company World Visitor offers Europeans vaccination tours to Moscow. EU citizens are facing a vaccine shortage, and the tour operator is helping to address it.
Foreigners are sent to Moscow via Istanbul, vaccinated with Sputnik V at the airport, then fly back, and three weeks later the procedure is repeated. Since tourists do not leave the transit zone, they do not need a visa.
The cost of the tour is about 1499 EUR. If a foreigner has a Russian visa, the offer will be more favorable: 1999 EUR for both trips. This amount includes four-day accommodation in Moscow and vaccination, but there may be unforeseen expenses.
World Visitor offers the service to Swiss, Italians, Germans, but it is possible that citizens of other countries will use it. According to DW, the first group of vaccine tourists from Germany arrives in Russia on April 8.
