To date, 5 more specialized popular science tours of the Novosibirsk region have been approved: Journey to Science. Sciences about the Earth and their inhabitants, "Nekoku-scientific", "Scientific", "Scientific Novosibirsk", "Nuclear physics, space and aviation".
Travels (duration from 1 to 4 days) will be routes in which visits to scientific institutions and universities will be combined with standard tourist facilities.
Now one popular science tourist route is available in the region - "The Path of Science". Novosibirsk. It includes a visit to the planetarium, the zoo, the Center for Oceanarium and Marine Biology, the State Scientific Center for Virology and Biotechnology "Vector", the Siberian Chaplygin Research Institute with a demonstration of the halls of static, dynamic tests of aircraft and resource tests SSJ-100.
According to the press service of the ministry, the tour was launched in the autumn of 2022.
According to the press service of the Russian government, in 2022, popular science tourism routes started in 10 regions of the Russian Federation. The ten pilot regions included Moscow and the Moscow region, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar Territory, Amur, Irkutsk, Kaliningrad, Kaluga, Nizhny Novgorod and Novosibirsk regions.
