Hotels of the Krasnodar Territory will pay a resort fee for tourists
In Anape Some hotels decided not to charge a resort fee from guests, but to pay it themselves.
Director of the office of the tour operator ALEAN in Anapa Ekaterina Danilova shared information that hotels of 3-4 stars made such a decision, and recreation centers did not support the initiative.
According to observers, the amount is not very significant. For example, the tax on a family of four people with two children will be only 200 rubles for a 10-day rest (10 rubles per day for a person over 18 years old). However, the unpleasant sediment of tourists will still remain.
Experts believe that the desire to take costs on yourself is correct from the image point of view. The only question is, will hoteliers really do it? Or will the costs be passed on to tourists?
Sergey Tolchin, sales director of the tour operator “NTK Intourist” is sure that hotels will not engage in such “charity”, and these amounts will add to the price of the room. Tolchin noted that until now the company has not received official confirmation of this information from partners. Therefore, the decision of hoteliers may not be final.
The expert argues that if hotels provide such a discount at their own expense this year, then next year they can include these costs in the bill. We heard about this intention from the same Olympus, SunmarInn, Slavyanka, as well as other hotels in the Krasnodar Territory and the Crimea, but so far we have not seen additional statements in contracts from them. Moreover, so far we have seen the opposite trend – to lower tariffs compared to last season.”
In the Krasnodar region resort fee is introduced from July 16.
