Passenger “Victory” fined several hundred thousand rubles for smoking

The passenger of “Victory” received a fine of 480 thousand rubles for his smoking in the toilet of the aircraft. The corresponding decision was made by the city court of Syktyvkar.

The press service of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Komi reports that a resident of Syktyvkar smoked in the bathroom on board, and this activated the fire alarm. In accordance with the instructions, the crew requested landing in Minsk. The offender was detained (and denied his illegal actions), and the liner again took to the sky.

"Victory" calculated the costs due to deviation from the route, emergency landing, additional fuel consumption, maintenance.
