OneTwoTrip conducted a survey of 1,271 users to determine how to save money.

79% are looking for flights to nearby destinations, 69% compare prices for travel by different modes of transport, 79.5% of tourists check the cost of flights to neighboring dates.

48% of tourists pay for the hotel immediately after booking, rather than upon check-in (it turns out to win due to currency fluctuations).

The trip will become more budgetary and interesting when forming composite routes. For example, if you want to get to Barcelona, it may be cheaper to fly from Moscow to Madrid and then go by train to the sea. 45% of respondents find better offers.

Little-known life hacks: it is profitable to buy tickets on Tuesdays: on Wednesday, airlines and agencies can adjust prices to take into account changes in the exchange rate, and if it increases, tickets automatically rise in price.

Even experienced travelers often book hotels with the possibility of free cancellation, and then monitor its cost. As soon as it goes down, they rebook the room at a bargain price. 62% of users have never used this advice, and 32% of those who ventured paid less for housing.

Another tip is to take advantage of loyalty programs, meaning paying for tickets and hotel rooms in miles and bonuses. 43% of tourists were able to save so much.

28% of travelers search for tickets from different devices, as in the app the price of tickets can be lower than on the website.
