On the Crimean bridge launched a test composition

On September 24, journalists were able to pass along the railway part of the bridge. The owner of the company "SGM-Most" Arkady Rotenberg says that the main movement according to preliminary plans will be launched in December.

Project Manager Alexander Ostrovsky reports that construction work is on schedule. The installation of bridge structures has been completed, railway communications are now being laid.

On the railway part, automatic control and control systems for train traffic are being installed. The speed of the trains can reach up to 80 kilometers per hour.

Now work is underway on ballasting crushed stone, loosening, straightening the upper structure of the track, the formation of counterrails is underway - additional rails in the main track.

The Crimean Bridge is the longest in Russia: 19 km long.

With the opening of railway traffic, the Crimean Bridge will be able to pass up to 94 trains per day - 47 pairs of passenger and freight trains in both directions. CZD forecasts: three million people a year will be delivered by long-distance trains across the bridge to the Crimea and back.

At first, it is possible to move eight pairs of trains per day along 11 routes to 4 destinations: Simferopol, Sevastopol, Evpatoria, Feodosia.
