Poland will develop tourism through storks

The European Union will give the Polish Voivodeship of Warmia and Masura from 6.5 million zlotys (more than $ 2 million) to implement a program to support the population of white storks, whose natural life attracts thousands of tourists.

As reported in the cultural and business center of Poland in Kaliningrad, the voivodeship project to support white storks is the largest in the world. PolandIt is on the territory of Warmia and Mazur that the largest population of this species of birds is located in the country. The Polish Society for the Protection of Birds implements it near the village of Zivkovo in Ostoje Warminska, where the largest colony of storks nests.

The organizers of the program are confident that its implementation will most actively contribute to the tourist attractiveness of Warmia and Mazur. Hundreds of tourists come to the region to observe white storks living in natural conditions.
