"Mountains of Russia" award: results of online voting of national prize summed up
The organizer of the award, General Director of THR Marketing Ilya Vinogradov said that the results of the online voting of the national award "Mountains of Russia" were summed up.
The award portal registered 300 representatives of the industry: 155 ski resorts, 122 hotels, 6 tour operators, 13 mountain bath complexes and 4 apre-skis.
The most popular nomination among ski resorts is "The best ski resort in Russia within the city" ("home resort"), 75 ski complexes were registered in it. 73 participants claim the title of the best ski resort for family holidays, 61 candidates for the victory in the main nomination "The Best Ski Resort of Russia" and 32 nominees were ranked among the most eventful ski resorts, Vinogradov said.
Over 100,000 people from all regions of Russia voted for the participants in 29 nominations.
“Such a large-scale survey of preferences of skiers within the country was conducted for the first time, it became a kind of all-Russian census of the ski industry of Russia...” – said Vinogradov.
In the nominations "Investment Project of the Year", "Best Special Project on Ski Tourism in the Media", "Media Person of the Ski Industry" winners will be determined by an expert jury.
One of the award nominations is “The Best Digital Solution”, it is supported by Rostourism. Among the applicants are resorts that have developed their own mobile applications.
The award ceremony will be held in Moscow at the end of November.
