The head of Rosturizm Zarina Doguzova said that the greatest growth will be in the south of Russia – about 30% compared to 2021.
The South of Russia for 5 months (May-September) will receive 8 million people. In the case of this figure, we are talking about accommodation only in classified accommodation facilities.
In addition, there will be tourists who will stay in guest houses, apartments, private facilities, etc.
This year we plan not only to keep employment in tourism, but also to increase it. This year, the industry will employ at least 2.7 million people, including seasonal workers. For us, this is a very good result, as it is higher than the pre-convex 2019.
Most tourists in the summer will rest on the sea - about 60%. In second place is cultural and educational tourism (20%).
Tourists choose cultural and educational trips with elements of recreation, when you can live outside the city, eat deliciously, go to museums, walk around the cities.
In third place in popularity - active recreation: hiking, trekking, alloys, etc.
" The main burden will be on the infrastructure of the south of Russia (Crimea, Krasnodar Territory). The Baltic coast (St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad) will be in demand. The Caspian Sea (Dagestan) is an alternative to the south.
All regions of Russia are ready to start the tourist season on May 1.
