In Pskov, together with the head of the city Elena Polonskaya, he opened the winter sports residence of Santa Claus.
In 1993, the first official member of the Hanseatic League of Modern Times from Russia became Veliky Novgorod. In 2010, the founding documents on the creation of the Union of Russian Hanseatic Cities were signed in the city. Now the Union of Russian Hanseatic Cities includes 14 ancient cities of our country.
