Rosaviatsiya issued permits: eight airlines can fly to resorts in Egypt
Eight Russian airlines received admissions of Rosaviatsiya to regular flights from Moscow and Russian regions to resort towns Egypt.
Admissions from Moscow to Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh were received by Aeroflot, Pobeda and S7, from the regions - Russia, S7, Ural Airlines, Smartavia, Nordwind and AZUR air.
The press service of Rosaviatsiya notes that the presence of admission does not mean the right to fly to the resorts of Egypt.
" . Permission to fly will be provided after the appropriate decision of the operational staff, — said the Agency.
The Russian government has allowed the resumption of direct flights to Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh from August 9, which have been banned since 2015.
At the first stage, regular flights will be performed, with a frequency of up to 5 times a week, from Moscow. At the same time, they will be performed alone by the airline "Russia". The decision to increase the number of flights will be made following the visit of the delegation of Russians to Egypt, which will assess the epidemic situation, reported in the government headquarters to combat COVID-19.
