Rospotrebnadzor formed recommendations for passenger air transportation

There will be two risk levels for airports due to the coronavirus pandemic, high and low.

This is reported in the recommendations of Rospotrebnadzor for the restoration of passenger traffic by civil aviation.

“Depending on the level of risk, differential warning and control measures are applied at airports. Risk levels should be adjusted according to disease dynamics.”

An airport with a high degree of risk from the point of view of prevention and control of the epidemic is recognized as an air harbor, which attracts passengers from regions with a disadvantaged epidemiological situation with more than 50,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19.

For airports in Moscow and the Moscow region, the stage is determined by the worst indicator of the two subjects of the Russian Federation.

The recommendations indicate that the stages of lifting restrictions are determined based on the indicators of the entity in which the air harbor is located.

Among the mandatory sanitary measures are the observance of personal hygiene measures by members of aircraft crews: hand washing, surface treatment with antiseptics, wearing personal protective equipment. Protective masks must be available on board in sufficient numbers for passengers, taking into account the duration of the flight and their change every 3 hours.

Services for the sale of air tickets recorded an increase in demand for air travel in Russia after the end of the non-working days regime. From 1 to 18 May, airfare sales increased five times compared to the same time in April.
