Russia plans to expand flights to Maldives
The Ministry of transport of the Russian Federation announced plans to launch additional flights to Maldives. This was the subject of a meeting between Deputy Transport Minister Dmitry Zverev and Minister of Tourism and Civil Aviation of the Maldives Mohamed Amin (August 18).
The parties noted the growth of passenger traffic and discussed the expansion of flight programs of Russian carriers. Now flights on the route Moscow-Male is performed by Aeroflot, but other airlines are interested in the direction. The Ministry of Transport believes that the increase in the number of carriers will help meet the growing demand for travel.
