Russia entered the top 3 tourist destinations
In the first half of 2026, Russia took the 3rd place among the popular destinations for package tours and surpassed the UAE in the number of bookings.
During the first 6 months of the year, domestic tourist flow increased by 56% (to the same period in 2025), and the share of trips to Russia in the total volume of bookings increased from 9 to 10%. At the same time, the demand for tours in the UAE fell by almost half - their share decreased from 11 to 4%.
The average cost of a tour in Russia decreased from 60.8 to 59.6 thousand rubles. In the UAE, the average check decreased by 8% to 174 thousand rubles (in 2025 it was 188.5 thousand rubles).
The leader among foreign destinations remains Turkey (share - 31%, a year earlier - 35%), in second place - Egypt (29 percent, previously 24 percent). Next is Russia. Thailand(9%) and Vietnam (7%). UAE 6th place; below,China (3%) Abkhazia (2%), Maldives (1.5%), and Sri Lanka (about 0.6%).
Among Russian destinations, Krasnodar Krai resorts are leading: Khosta (17.4% of bookings within the country), Sochi (15.7%), Adler (11.4%), and Sirius (11.3%). The top 10 also includes districts St. PetersburgLoo, Essentuki, Esto-Sadok and kaliningrad.
