Russians received a billion rubles of cashback for children’s rest in camps
As part of the program of children’s tourist cashback for vouchers to camps, Russians have already received more than 1 billion rubles. This was reported by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.
The action started on May 25 and today parents have purchased vouchers for children in health institutions in the amount of 2.1 billion rubles. At the same time, the government has already allocated 10 billion rubles for the implementation of the program, almost 2 times more than planned.
According to Dmitry Chernyshenko, the increase in the budget was due to two factors.
First, it was decided to expand the program: the beginning was postponed from May 25 to 10, and the end from September 15 to September 20. Secondly, on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation, compensation this year will be provided even to those parents who purchased vouchers for children before the start of the campaign.
Children's tourist cashback helped the transparency of the camps. The entire payment process by linking to the World card will be digitalized. Thanks to this, the government will be able to clearly monitor the statistics on the loading of camps and the quality of their work.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting with members of the government drew attention to the fact that the return of money to parents for vouchers was technically debugged and within the framework of the program there were no failures.
