Russians will be able to fly to 42 countries in autumn: new routes and resumption of flights
According to the seasonal flight schedule, direct flights to 42 countries will be available to Russian citizens this autumn.
A number of carriers announced the launch and resumption of flights in the coming months. In mid-September, Jazeera Airways plans to return flights on the Moscow-Kuwait route, which was previously suspended due to the tense situation in the Middle East.
From October 1, Pakistani airline Fly Jinnah will start operating daily flights between Moscow and Islamabad. From October 2, Algerian Air Algerie will start flights to the Russian capital - flights will go three times a week (on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays).
Expansion of geography is expected in Southeast Asia: from October 4, Myanmar Airways International will launch flights on the route Novosibirsk-Mandalay-Yangon. In November, Azur Air will start flights to Hambantota (Sri Lanka) from eight Russian cities.
West Asia leads in the number of routes: you can fly to there Abkhazia. Azerbaijan. ArmeniaBahrain, Georgia, Israel, Jordan, Iraq, Qatar, Kuwait, UAE, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Syria and Turkey.
With all five Central Asian countries,KazakhstanKyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and UzbekistanDirect flights are maintained.
In South Asia, direct flights will be available to Afghanistan, India, Iran, the Maldives, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, in the South-East – to Afghanistan. VietnamIndonesia, Myanmar and ThailandIn the East, in the ChinaDPRK and Mongolia.
The African direction covers seven countries: Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Ethiopia, Tanzania and the Seychelles. In Europe, direct flights are operated in Belarus and Serbia.
