Rosturizm does not prohibit the sale of tours to Italy, South Korea, Iran, but recommends tourists to abandon trips there
In connection with the report of Rospotrebnadzor on the increase in the number of cases of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in the Italian Republic, the Republic of Korea and the Islamic Republic of Iran, Rosturizm asks tourists to take into account the current situation and refrain from visiting these countries until the epidemiological situation stabilizes.
The website of the Federal Agency for Tourism published recommendations for tourists and business regarding travel to Italy, South Korea, Iran. The sale of tours to these countries does not stop, but tourists are advised to refrain from visiting them if possible.
Tour operators and travel agents are obliged to inform tourists planning trips to these countries about the possible risk of infection and suggest countries considered more prosperous by epidemiological indicators.
Cancellations of paid tours on the initiative of the tourist occur under the terms of the contract of the tourist with the tour operator, i.e. withholding the costs actually incurred by the tour operator (FPR).
“We recommend all tourists to make balanced and reasonable decisions regarding leaving for these countries, based on official reports of the authorities of our countries and international organizations in the field of health care,” said the head of the ATOR Legal Service.
