The head of Rostourism Zarina Doguzova in an interview with RBC TV channel said that the domestic tourism industry this year will not reach 600 billion rubles from the annual turnover of the industry of 3.7 trillion rubles due to the absence of foreign travelers.
We have international tourist flows recovering very slowly due to the epidemiological situation in the world, we now have a forecast that 600 billion rubles by the end of the year will amount to losses on inbound flows.
Zarina Doguzova believes that the development of the situation will depend on the further situation with closed borders.
On September 30, Z. Doguzova said that the domestic law on tourism will be fully updated in accordance with industry transformations.
