Rostourism reported on subsidies for hard-to-reach destinations
The government of the Russian Federation decided to subsidize tour operators, which will form package offers for travelers on popular, but difficult to access tourist routes.
Head of Rostourism Zarina Doguzova: Today, a long-awaited decision has been made - the state will for the first time subsidize tour operators who will supply charters and form ready-made turnkey package offers for tourists to the most popular and at the same time hard-to-reach tourist destinations. Many of them today are either very expensive tickets or there are no direct flights.”
This year, Rosturizm plans to open at least 12 such charter destinations, for which the price of rest will be lower by an average of two times. It is planned to allocate 1.2 billion rubles for this program.
