Rosturizm has compiled a list of regions for subsidized charters

Rosturizm has prepared a list of subjects of the Russian Federation, which will fly subsidized domestic charters. The list includes 64 subjects of the Russian Federation.

The Russian government in mid-May approved the allocation of 1.2 billion rubles for the program of subsidizing domestic charters.

It is envisaged to reimburse half of the costs of organizing a charter for travel companies that perform at least 6 paired flights on one route, and the number of passengers transported must be at least 300 people.

As part of the federal program to support charters, the agency proposes to include in subsidized destinations all subjects of the Russian Federation, on the territory of which there are civilian airports (65 airports), except for air hubs in Moscow and the Moscow region, St. Petersburg, the Republic of Crimea, the Krasnodar Territory (may be the point of departure of the charter, but not the point of arrival).

One of the goals of the charter program is to make completely new destinations available to tourists, including those far removed from the central regions of Russia <...> Kamchatka, Vladivostok and Sakhalin, Baikal are regions where every Russian wants to visit at least once. But now tickets are either very expensive or there is no convenient direct connection to most major cities.”

Another task of the program is to ensure the communication of regions of the country with each other where there are no air links: for example, between the Urals and Siberia or the Far East.

Charters will also reduce the price of a holiday by one and a half to two times, and this, as you know, is one of the strongest stop factors for travel, including to the Far East.
