Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced the abolition of all restrictions imposed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the capital from March 15.
Since March 15, 2022, due to a steady improvement in the epidemiological situation in Moscow, the requirement for the use of protective masks in public places is canceled. Now they will not be needed in stores, transport, anywhere else.
In addition, all mandatory anticove measures at enterprises and organizations established by the decree of the Mayor of Moscow are canceled: regular measurement of workers’ body temperature, installation of separation partitions at workplaces, etc.
“In the current conditions, this decision will also support businesses that are already under severe sanctions pressure,” the statement said.
