From June 30, the result of the PCR covid test must be presented at the entrance to Greece
The publication Protothema reports that the Ministry of Tourism of Greece has tightened the rules of entry for citizens of the Russian Federation, now all Russians, including those with a vaccination, will need a certificate with a negative PCR test for covid.
This rule applies to both citizens without the coronavirus vaccine and vaccinated Russians.
Tourists from Russia over the age of 12 will have to undergo free express testing upon arrival in Greece.
The tightening is caused by the spread of the Indian strain of coronavirus and the deterioration of the epidemiological situation in the Russian Federation.
On June 26, the Greek authorities extended the entry permit for Russian tourists with a vaccination, test or certificate of antibodies until July 3. On the eve of arrival, Russians fill in the electronic form PLF (Passenger Locator Form) and receive a QR code, which is presented at the border, as well as a voucher for accommodation.
