The largest artificial skating rink in Europe opened in the Russian capital

In the Moscow Central Park of culture and recreation named after Gorky on Friday opened the largest skating rink in Europe with artificial ice.

The skating rink is located, as in the past year, from the fountain square across the central alley almost to Andreevsky Bridge.

In addition to the central rink there is a children's and hockey field. Along the entire central rink stretches a wooden bridge, which allows the non-skating public from above to look at the ice, or walk from rental points at the central entrance to similar structures on the other hand, in the hope that there is less queue.

The skating rink, compared to last year, is much better: glowing waves-lights on the fountain square, unusual space installations, and the coating itself, sparkling with LEDs from the ice thickness, is impressive. The LED programs are 16, which makes the rink look magical.

According to the director of the park Olga Zakharova, the theme of this winter is “Flights in sleep and reality”.

Tickets cost from 100 to 500 rubles depending on the time and day of the week. On Tuesdays from 10 am to 15.00 for pensioners entrance is free, besides at this time will sound the voices of Claudia Shulzhenko, Maya Kristalinskaya, Peter Leshchenko and others.
