Silver Necklace of Russia awaits travelers from Russia and foreign guests
Sergey Korneev, Chairman of the Committee for Tourism Development of St. Petersburg, reports that the leadership of the interregional tourist project “Silver Necklace of Russia” intends to attract foreign tourists after the opening of the borders.
Interest in the North is one of the trends of world tourism.
According to Sergey Korneev, the issue of attracting foreigners is being discussed with Finland, Sweden and other Baltic states.
"Silver Necklace of Russia" is an interregional tourist project, which consists of a complex of routes combining historical cities, regional centers, large settlements of the North-West of Russia with unique historical and cultural monuments, and natural sites, including those included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
