Black Sea season opens in June: what will be the rest?
The “pioneers” of the season on the Black Sea will be more than 140 sanatoriums of the Krasnodar Territory with a slow license, which are allowed to receive tourists from June 1. Kuban authorities: “holidaymakers should remember that they come to the sanatorium, not to the resort.”
The administration of the Krasnodar Territory reports that "while maintaining a stable epidemic situation" from June 1, the work of sanatoriums with a medlicense will resume - its presence means that in case of detection of patients with coronavirus infection, sanatoriums will provide them with qualified assistance.
The head of the region Veniamin Kondratiev: health resorts will work according to the regulations of Rospotrebnadzor. The entry of tourists to the region will be regulated to prevent unorganized tourists. The basis for travel to the sanatorium is a sanatorium-resort tour.
For tourists arriving in the city from June 1, a mandatory transfer from the station or airport to the sanatorium should be organized.
In the Krasnodar Territory until May 23, the quarantine regime, operating in the conditions of the coronavirus pandemic, is extended. From May 23, it is planned to restore intra-municipal traffic, public transport will return to normal operation, but the ban on movement between municipalities will remain, and security will be increased at the external borders of the region.
At the end of May, it will be decided whether to open parks, squares, embankments in resorts. The decision will be made in accordance with the task of "preventing the shaft of travelers."
From June 1, it will be possible to enter the territory of the Krasnodar Territory through a stay in the observatory or by a ticket to the sanatorium.
Since June 1, Sochi is ready to receive about 40 thousand tourists. According to the head of the city, 65 sanatoriums with a medical license with a total capacity of 40 thousand people operate in Sochi, 52 in Anapa, 23 in Gelendzhik.
The maximum possible tourist flow to the Krasnodar Territory along the sanatorium line is up to 180,000 tourists in June, more than half of them in Sochi.
Tour operators believe that the opening of sanatoriums will bring the restart of hotels closer.
We are pleased with any move forward to open Russian resorts. The opening of sanatoriums is a timely decision at the current stage, says the director of the tour operator Dolphin Sergey Romashkin. For many people, the opportunity to come to Sochi for treatment is preferable to sitting at home and watching TV.
If the experiment with the launch of sanatoriums will be successful and no new cases of COVID-19 will be recorded in Kuban health resorts, then by the end of June the hotels can expect openings.
According to market participants, the demand for sanatorium holidays in Sochi will recover in a few weeks. As Sergey Romashkin notes, in particular, due to the factor of closure of the rest of tourism.
Medical Director of the Association of Health Tourism and Corporate Health Mikhail Danilov, the situation on demand varies among specific facilities. In several sanatoriums, the depth of booking allows you to count on accommodation for vacationers in June.
It is unclear from which regions tourists will be allowed to travel to Sochi, whether there will be tests for COVID-19 and who will pay for such a procedure.
Mm. Danilov draws attention to the need to clarify the provision on the transfer of the sanatorium to the observatory mode in case of detection of the patient.
