Scottish hotel offers guests its own whisky

Hotel Nira Caledonia in Edinburgh has launched its own whiskey. Single malt drink under the hotel brand is made at Tullibardine distillery in the Perthshire region. The company has been operating in Scotland since 1949.

The drink is aged in oak barrels. In the bouquet, notes of vanilla and fruit can be recognized. Blackwood Hotel Bar is the only place in the world where you can taste Nira Caledonia whiskey. Also, the hotel has developed a special package for all whiskey lovers. In addition to accommodation, it includes a trip to the distillery.

Nira Caledonia is a boutique hotel with just 28 rooms. It opened in early 2013 in Edinburgh’s picturesque Stockbridge district, occupying a classic Georgian building. The cost of accommodation is from $313 for a double room per day.
