Experts attribute this primarily to “Generation Z”, i.e. people who were born in the late nineties – early two thousandth years. As soon as this generation achieves business and economic freedom in 10 years, the whole equation will change.
“Antalya and its surroundings have been left with the last ten years to develop themselves in accordance with the new requirements. At the same time, at the moment the resort is betting on “all inclusive” and package tours. However, other trends will play a major role in new era tourism, Ipsos said.
For example, five-star hotels with package tours and excursions will give way to individual travel options that will focus on festivals, event events, gastronomy.
According to Ipsos, Turkey will have to invest in improving its rating. As she is, to put it mildly, not a leader in research by many criteria.
Of the 140 countries surveyed, Turkey ranks 125th in terms of safety and 126th in terms of ecology.
