How many Russians became tourists in 2022?
In Russia from January to December 1, 2022, 57 million people rested, another 7 million came from other countries.

The number of incoming tourists was slightly more than 7 million people. At the end of the year we expect more than 61 million people. This is an indicator of the national federal project, and it will be implemented. We have 59 million in the national project, we expect under 62.”
Dmitry Vakhrukov at a meeting of the State Duma Committee on Tourism and Development of Tourist Infrastructure said that 2.4 million people are currently employed in the tourism industry.
“All obligations are being fulfilled, there has been no bankruptcy of a tour operator in a year. The number of companies included in the unified federal register increased by 120 companies to 4,415. New tour operators are added to the roster almost daily.”
In the third quarter, the level of achievement of financing indicators of the national project "Tourism and hospitality industry" was 97%. We expect that by the end of the year all indicators will reach 100%.
