Became known the date of “Night in museums” in Moscow

The Moscow Committee for Culture posted on its official website information about the Night of Museums this year. This cultural event will be held in the capital on May 14. Museums Moscow On this day they will work from six in the evening to twelve in the evening.

This year’s schedule is different from previous years – the opening hours of some museums have been reduced. Previously, only Moscow museums of federal subordination worked until midnight, but city museums could be visited up to two nights. There is no specific list of participants yet.

But on April 18 and May 18, the city will host the Days of Historical Heritage, when Moscow museums, parks, exhibitions and public organizations will invite visitors to free excursions.

In addition, these days you can see the interiors of buildings that are usually closed to ordinary visitors: these are public and private institutions, banks, foreign diplomatic missions. The list of participants of this action is posted on the website of the Moscow Department of Cultural Heritage. Places on excursions to some institutions are limited, so you need to register in advance.
