Insurance protects against loss of luggage
Every year, about 25 million suitcases go missing at the world’s largest airports. This data for 2010 is given in the baggage transportation reports.
In other words, every 100th passenger, being at a major airport, hopes to see his suitcase on the luggage carousel, because his luggage has already gone on an independent flight on an unknown route. Luggage is lost for various reasons: in 25% of cases, suitcases disappear when transferring from flight to flight, 17% simply forget to load, inattention and negligence sends about 12% of luggage into the unknown. Experts believe that a properly designed insurance policy can save your vacation from collapse. But many people have never even thought about inscribing a complete wardrobe change into travel expenses.
