European countries continue to abolish covid restrictions

Some European countries have begun to adopt policies to mitigate anticoronavirus measures.

Since January 28, covid passports have been canceled in Catalonia: it is not required to present a document on vaccination or the presence of the status of a sick person when entering restaurants, cafes, bars, gyms. The measure was in effect for about 2 months.

Catalan authorities also lifted the night curfew and allowed companies of up to 10 people to gather in public places.

On the way to lift the coronavirus restrictions is Greece: lifted the ban on clubs and restaurants after midnight.

Greece has taken one step forward and two steps back. Authorities still plan to close access to indoor cafes and restaurants, nightclubs, museums, cinemas, gyms for people who have not been vaccinated or received only two doses of the vaccine and since then more than 7 months have passed. However, the deadline for the entry into force of these restrictions is shifted by a week from 1 to 8 February.
