The flight attendants told about the qualities of the ideal passenger
Employees of the service Aviasales interviewed employees of Russian airlines and prepared a portrait of the ideal passenger.
For example, customers who stay in their seats after landing, rather than rushing to get things from the shelf, are valued: “The passenger should understand that the time of exit from the aircraft does not change from the speed of removing things from the luggage shelf.”
The second most common characteristic of the reference passenger is that “he does not need to run to the toilet exactly when service begins, and in the aisle there are carts with drinks and food.”
Flight attendants appreciate being addressed by name, with one flight attendant commenting: "We have a badge and none of them say 'girl'."
The ideal passenger is polite, asking a question or request, and clean. “No passenger who said ‘please’, ‘please’ or ‘thank you’ has ever had a cold coffee.”
Aircraft workers are waiting for more responsive passengers and those who meet crew and airline requirements. Such a person will prepare a boarding pass in advance and present it to the flight attendants without grumbling that "he has already been checked three times before."
According to some interviewed flight attendants, the ideal passenger can sleep for a long time in the flight, and also does not worry about the fact that for lunch - chicken or fish. In this case, the crew members are ready to provide maximum comfort to customers. And for everyone, "the flight is faster and more pleasant."
