June Murmansk It was among the five most popular domestic destinations among Russian tourists.

Demand for travel to the city grew by 12.3% compared to June last year.

According to Pavel Neraznikov, head of the Tripster Regions Development and Growth Department, in June Murmansk ousted Kislovodsk from the top 5 (the latter led in May). The main driver of the growth of interest in the region is comfortable weather and unique natural phenomena.

From the end of May to the end of July, the polar day lasts in Murmansk: the sun does not set beyond the horizon. Tourists actively choose routes to lakes, waterfalls and the coast of the Barents Sea. Among the most visited locations are the ship cemetery and the Dragon Eggs beach. During sea trips, travelers can see minke whales, killer whales and dolphins.

Among other leaders of tourist demand in June, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Moscow and Kazan. In the Northern capital, tourists are attracted by white nights and the holiday "Scarlet Sails", in Moscow - festivals, gastronomic and musical events.
