Turkey will punish drunk Russian tourists
The security department of Antalya (Turkey) has developed a decree that is designed to tighten the existing rules. Now the portability of alcoholic beverages outside hotels and catering establishments threatens with a fine of 100 Turkish liras (25 euros).
The ban was any "public" use of alcoholic beverages "in the form that can cause discontent of others." You can not drink in public parks, gardens, squares, in residential areas, on roads, in picnic areas and archaeological sites, railway and bus stations buildings, on the streets, in historical places and places of cultural events, in religious buildings, in abandoned buildings, on construction sites, in ATMs, spaces under bridges, walking areas within the borders of municipalities, in all vehicles regardless of their parking space.
The Association of Tour Operators of Russia and the Consulate General of Russia in Antalya recommend that tourists from Russia adhere to these rules, and do not appear in public places or on the street while intoxicated.
