Is Turkey safer for Russians? Flights to Europe stopped and there
Turkey has become even safer for Russian travelers. Since March 14, flights with 9 European countries have been temporarily suspended.
From 8 a.m. on March 14 to April 17, Turkey does not accept flights from Germany, France, Spain, Norway, Denmark, Austria, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands.
Since February 3, Turkey has stopped flights from China, from February 23 – from Iran, from February 29 – from South Korea.
Turkish citizens are officially prohibited from traveling to these countries with a dysfunctional epidemiological situation.
The railway connection with Bulgaria (Istanbul-Sofia train) was also stopped.
Since the beginning of March, Turkey does not accept tourists from any countries (if Italy, South Korea, China, Iran are listed in the history of travel over the past 14 days).
In Turkey, there is an increased disinfection of public accommodation and transport.
