Tourist cashback proposed to extend to vouchers to children's camps

The program of tourist cashback in Russia can be extended to vouchers to children's camps. The corresponding proposal was made by the United Russia party.

It is proposed to include children's camps among the sectors affected by the pandemic. It is noted that such measures will help health organizations to receive state support, and parents to plan the rest of children.

Olga Okuneva, coordinator of the Strong Family party project, the first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Family, Women and Children, is sure. That getting cashback for trips to children's camps would be good financial support for families.

“Not every region can help reduce the cost of vouchers at the expense of its budget <...> the measure will also support the demand for vouchers and help the companies organizing children’s holidays recover, giving them a certain guarantee of occupancy.”

The head of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy Alexander Khinshtein added that the party is in favor of developing a program for the reconstruction of children's health camps, since in some regions they have become completely unusable, and municipalities do not have enough funds for their repair.

The party proposed to start a program for the reconstruction of children's health camps this year with a deadline of five years.

In 2020, due to the coronavirus pandemic, children’s health campaign was held in a short time, only 17% of camps in Russia were able to accept children.
