The tourist flow from Russia to the Seychelles broke a historical record
In the past 38 weeks of 2021, 19,624 Russian tourists arrived in Seychelles, which is 2.3 times more than in the same period before the pandemic.
This was reported on Monday in the Association of tour operators of Russia (ATOR).
The growth of the Russian tourist flow amounted to 133% compared to the dock stage.
This is a historical record for the Russian tourist flow to the Seychelles (previously, the annual tourist flow from the Russian Federation here never exceeded 13,000 people) <...> For the first time in 2021, Russia became the number one tourist market for the Seychelles by a decent margin from competitors.
The second place after Russians in the number of arrivals to the Seychelles is occupied by the UAE with a tourist flow of 16,038 tourists from January 1 to September 19, but the increase compared to 2019 in the UAE is negative: -17%.
