The tourist flow in Russia in 2023 exceeded the pre-pandemic level
The tourist flow in Russia by the end of 2023, previously amounted to more than 75 million people.
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, speaking at the Day of Sport and Tourism at the forum-exhibition “Russia”, said that these figures are higher than the pre-pandemic 2019.
“At the end of 2023, we exceeded the figures for the domestic tourist flow of the 2019 dokovidnya year, it is, tentatively, in the region of 75 million (person – ed.).”
The press service of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia reported that in 2022 the tourist flow across the country amounted to 73.1 million people.
