Tours to Tunisia start from Moscow and St. Petersburg

Press Secretary of the Russian Union of travel industry Irina Tyurina is sure that tours on flights to Tunisia from St. Petersburg and Moscow will be in demand among Russians because of the shortage of foreign transportation.

“Tunis is very warm in September and the demand will be high. Tour operators received requests and calls from tourists immediately after the news about the resumption of direct flights.

The tourist market currently lacks foreign transportation. “Europe has closed, there are no flights to Thailand or China. Against this background, you can put any direct flights, and, unlike in previous years, they will be in demand. Even the prices of air tickets are not of particular importance, they are completely dependent on the airlines.”

Tunisian airline Nouvelair from August 17 will fly from St. Petersburg to the city of Monastir on the Mediterranean coast on Tuesdays and Fridays. Flights are announced until the end of September.

From August 19, Nouvelair will resume flights to Monastir from Moscow. Flights are scheduled on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Russians do not need a visa to enter Tunisia. Of the covid requirements, travelers over 18 years of age will need to present a vaccination certificate (all Russian vaccines are suitable), or a negative PCR test result.
