In the Arctic will be visiting centers for tourists

In the national park "Russian Arctic" in the coming years, there will be at least four visiting centers for tourists, one on Novaya Zemlya, and at least three more on Franz Josef Land, the press service of the national park reported today.

Tourists will be able to make a long stop in the visiting centers: not to rest for 2-3 hours, but for several days.

The management of the reserve today is especially attentive to the development of tourism in the park. In particular, the routes of visitors to the specially protected area, their parking places will be coordinated. Work is underway to develop infrastructure for the organization of a network of environmental routes. This implies the construction of observation decks, the preparation of specialized recommendations on landing methods, the optimal number of visitors, etc.
