What is the advantage of the Crimean train over the planes?

Alexander Ganov, general director of the company-operator of passenger transportation to the peninsula "Grand Service Express" said that the price of a railway ticket for a train to Crimea will be set below the prices for air tickets on the same route.

He noted that the cost of plane tickets is a benchmark for the formation of a price proposal. If we say that there is a price for a ticket, then we should be lower.

In 2020, the list of cities from which trains to Crimea will be launched will be expanded. The possibility of launching trains from Kislovodsk, Krasnodar, Yekaterinburg, Murmansk is being considered.

The number of routes from Moscow and St. Petersburg to the republic can be increased – other cities, for example, Yevpatoria, will be covered. For these purposes, the carrier intends to receive additional trains - to lease them or buy them.

Tickets for trains to Crimea became available for purchase on November 8. You can buy them at the railway ticket office or on the official website of the operator. The first train from St. Petersburg to the peninsula will depart on December 23, from Moscow on December 24. The declared cost of tickets is from 2966 rubles.
