Which countries do Russians fly to in 2024?

Aeroflot presented data on the most popular and fastest growing destinations of international flights from January to June 2024.

It was the first place. Istanbul in Turkey, followed by Chinese guangzhou.

Within 6 months, the airline carried 4.2 million passengers on its own international flights, which is 34.1% higher than in the first half of 2023.

Popular international destinations for the number of passengers transported for the first half of 2024 are:

Moscow – Phuket – Moscow (245.2 thousand)
Moscow – Dubai – Moscow (236.9 thousand)
Moscow – Antalya – Moscow (229.4 thousand)
Moscow – Yerevan – Moscow (227.3 thousand)

The largest increase in passenger traffic in international destinations compared to the first half of 2023 showed the following routes:

Moscow – Guangzhou – Moscow (increase by 3 times, transported 73,585 passengers)
Moscow – Beijing – Moscow (increase by 2.5 times, 66,052 passengers)
Moscow – Sharm el-Sheikh – Moscow (1.4 times increase, 160,295 passengers)
Moscow – Minsk – Moscow (increase by 1.4 times, 204,899 passengers)
Moscow – Tehran – Moscow (increase 1.3 times, 14,254 passengers)
