In the Nizhny Novgorod region will introduce a tourist tax
The tourist tax will be introduced in the Gorodetsk district of the Nizhny Novgorod region from January 1, 2025.
On the website of the municipality it is reported: "The Zemstvo Assembly decided to establish and put into effect from January 1, 2025 on the territory of the Gorodetsk municipal district of the Nizhny Novgorod region tourist tax."
The tourist tax rate in 2025 will be 1%, in 2026 - 2%, in 2027 - 3%, in 2028 - 4%, starting from 2029 - 5% of the tax base.
Gorodets was founded in 1152 on the high left bank of the Volga River by Suzdal prince Yuri Dolgoruky.
