In the new tickets of Russian Railways will be a wish to passengers from the lower shelves

Russian Railways demonstrated a new electronic ticket for long-distance trains, it will be introduced in the first half of 2020.

The form will include a request for passengers on the lower shelves to allow people on top to be down in the afternoon.

The topic of the rights of passengers of the upper and lower shelves in December 2017 began to sound in the information space after the publications of some media that Russian Railways allow passengers from the lower shelves not to let passengers from the upper shelves.

"Federal passenger company" ("daughter" of Russian Railways) explained then that there has long been a rule: a passenger of the train from the top shelf can sit in the lower seat with the consent of the passenger with a ticket for it.

In the video about the new ticket as one of the examples of Russian Railways showed a picture of the form, on which the passenger has the upper seat - 12. “The seat for your luggage is on the top, on the third shelf. The table is shared. It is permitted to sit on the lower shelf during the day.”

In another example, the bottom place is shown - 11. “Your luggage is below the shelf. The table is shared. In the daytime, allow passengers on top to sit on your shelf.”
