Popular hotels in Egypt and the Maldives almost ran out of seats for the New Year
The press service of the tour operator TEZ Tour reported that tours for the New Year holidays in 2021 are sold almost 10 times more actively than a year ago – there are practically no places in popular resorts in Egypt and the Maldives.
The volume of sales of tours for the New Year holidays in TEZ Tour is already 8 times higher than last year for the same period. The absolute leader of preferences is Egypt, which accounts for 40% of the total bookings for high dates. The second position is occupied by Turkey with an indicator of 20%, and closes the three leaders of the UAE - 17%. The Maldives, which is chosen by about 10% of customers, the fifth place is occupied by tours in Russia, they account for less than 5% of applications.
In 2020, sales peaked at the end of November and December – customers were afraid of closing borders, imposing additional restrictions, strengthening security measures and booking vacations on the eve of departure. This year, the first applications for high winter dates began to arrive in June, and since the end of September, demand has been growing daily.
In hotels of other destinations in demand for the New Year - Turkey, the UAE, the Seychelles, Mauritius, the Dominican Republic, Thailand, Bulgaria and Sri Lanka, there are no problems with places yet.
